Who knew the above words could inspire gems of prose and even poetry? I had such a blast reading everyone’s writing and chuckling to myself. In fact, as the submissions came in, I thought, “Each is so good, how am I ever going to pick the winner?”
Well, I eventually did.
I’m sure you’ll agree with me that Maivy’s entry is priceless!
I’m so glad I found this contest in time!
And would like to express myself in rhyme
Hope that it doesn’t break the rule
Because this drama, “Family Honor”, sounds oh so cool!
Endearing Haraboji Shin Goo is the man to go to for chocopie
In “Thank You” he got me addicted to this yummy treat, and that’s no lie.
Adorable Park Shi-hoo took me breath away in “Prosecutor Princess”
And distracted me in my time of great distress
You see, I was in the middle of studying for my nursing license test
I was tired of reading about how to give blood
Or how to respond to an emergency flood
I didn’t care much to learn about rabies
But I loved learning about caring for babies
So I took study breaks to watch an episode (or two) to de-stress
It relaxed me so that I could do my very very best
Now that it’s over and done
It’s time to have some fun!
Maybe I’ll finally learn how to play Go-Stop
Or listen to more awesome kpop
What I really want is something more
A great heartwarming drama to make my heart soar!
This show seems to have it all,
I’d rather be marathon-ing this than going to the mall
