Testing

It’s been so long I’ve forgotten how to blog. So this is just a test post.

And if there is still someone reading, thank you.

  1. Welcome back!
We’ve missed you over the last 7 years. Glad to see you back here again!

I’ve come back here every time there was a major change in the kdrama world, hoping for an update. Stay safe. I’ve missed your prattles, but I’m just glad to hear you’re ok.

    Love from a lurker~

  2. I am so very glad to see you here again. I checked here off and on over the years hoping for news. This today has made me very happy. Hope you are happy too!

  3. Oh wow!! Welcome back.

  4. Had to double check this post to see if my mind was playing tricks on me … (almost 5am in New Zealand).

Glad to see you’re ok! This blog alongside MisterX’s were some of my favourite things to read back when I was still in high school.

Anyway just wanted to say thanks for your writing over the years. I remember when I was sick with cancer a few years back, rereading some of your older posts (namely the ones about Ruler of Your Own World and Eyes of Dawn) brought back some simpler and happier times for me.

Hope things are as good as can be for ya during these weird times 🙂

  5. I still think of you from time to time and come back to check for updates. So happy to see your post!

  6. Aw, Thundie! So glad you’re back. I’ve missed you dearly.

  7. Hi Thundie! I’m a recent(ish) fan (I’ve only been reading your blog for the past two years or so), but your blog posts have brightened numerous days of mine. The Kdrama world has changed so much since your last update, and I’ve always wondered what you would think of newer shows. Just wanted to let you know that I still read your blog posts every time I rewatch an old drama, and I think of how you’re doing. I hope you’ve been safe & healthy over the years 🙂

  8. Still reading!! I miss the OG drama blogs. Hope you’re staying safe and sane in these crazy times

  9. SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN!

  10. Hello Thundie ^^ sorry for replying to this post so late but I honestly had no idea you put this up cuz I don’t get notifications or anything ever since I stepped away from blogging a few years back. Not to mention I haven’t been home since February so I’ve been away from my laptop. Ever since lockdown began in Seoul in February, I’ve been staying with a friend cuz it was just safer there. I actually came home tonight for good after staying there for almost 8 months. Seeing your post brought an ache to my heart cuz we’ve missed you so much. All of your readers have been saying prayers for you throughout your absence. Can I just say how happy and thrilled I was to see this, though inwardly I was thinking you could’ve made a longer “test” post but I totally get why you made it brief. I completely forgot how to blog too. For the life of me I can’t remember how I made my headers, widgets, and everything else. Blogging is soooooo NOT like riding a bike – you forget everything. To be honest, I completely stepped away from kdramas and only watched American or British shows for a few years. If it wasn’t for the fact that everyone in Seoul was going nuts over dramas like CLOY and that adultery one I can’t remember the exact title of, I wouldn’t even be aware of any dramas in the last year or so. I didn’t even watch either of those dramas except for like a 3 minute snippet on YouTube for each one. Those just aren’t my type of dramas, but my friend got into Hospital playlist and made me watch the first two episodes, but it wasn’t catching my interest enough to continue. You can’t live in Seoul and not be aware of which dramas are ratings gold, but I certainly tried. Having said all that, I must admit I did miss one thing about blogging. The connection we all shared enjoying a drama was the absolute best. I was so excited when 2020 began cuz I just felt like it would be such a great year to get back into blogging in some new way, but then 2020 decided to upend the world as we know it. It still boggles my mind that one incident could’ve snowballed into something so monumental that it literally set us back for decades in every way imaginable – emotionally, spiritually, financially, mentally, physically, not to mention causing generations of heartache.
Up to last year, every few months or so I would delete spams and stuff from my blog but one day my computer decided to log out of my account to yank away my safety net and leave me free falling. I was left staring at my “log in” box totally clueless to what my user name and password had been. I essentially have a blog I can no longer access. The funny thing was I missed blogging after that happened. Not having access made me appreciate it more for all those years I felt useful recapping live. Even back then new sites kept popping up that could give automatic translations same night as the shows were aired so my blog would’ve become obsolete sooner or later. Thank goodness that’s not the case for your blog. We tune in for your one of a kind “prattle”. They say nothing good can last, but all those years you invested in this blog will prove them different. No matter how much time it takes for you to come back to regular postings, unlike live recaps, your thoughts on dramas will always be invaluable and irreplaceable. Welcome back ^^

  11. I was just checking the Korea Film Festival in Australia website and thought I’d check my Kdrama internet bookmarks and one of the 1st was your review of Comrades. I really enjoyed that drama and your blog review was one of the best. I clicked through to your page and had another read of the review – it stands the test of time. I couldn’t see any current posts, but noticed you had a twitter account. I’m still a huge kdrama fan and so happy to see you back. It would be great to have some good (great) reviews again. But also understand if your life has moved on. Take care and hopefully there will be the occasional review/discussion.

  12. i can’t believe i almost missed this! i have been checking from time to time for the last few years hoping to see a new post. welcome back! 🥰
